Lex Oppia

Hi folks!

Well, saying to you that I hesitated a bunch of time before choosing this one would be... A little word.

I finally cracked seeing Jarhead (from the holy Massive Voodoo) has made it several times.

I enjoyed myself, this one is more "cartoon" than usual.

Very hard to decide which color to use, and where to use it.

Difficult composition, but really, it is very well sculpted and molded, and it is a very good exercise, since there is every possible sensitive case (skin, shades, fabric, folds ...).

Love it.

See you soon!

Cléopalol

Hi folks!

Know of a beautiful Egyptian girl who flirting with some Roman guys and make a fucking mess throughout the ancient world for years before making dirty things with snakes?
I do. ^^

I looked and read dozens of things on this queen while I was doing this pretty girl from Kabuki (definitly love this brand).

It had made me believe that she was not well sculpted or even pretty, and it was wrong .
It is very nice.
For paint learning, for example, it can be a super model!

See you soon with more Girlz and old man!

Medusa, snake tongue

Hi friends!

Who are his snakes hiss on your heads? (Sorry, in french, it sound much better than English ... That's why I'm speaking the great language of Molière ^^)

Today I present a beautiful figurine, a very limited edition because my print was the last one! How sad!

Allan Carrasco very well sculpted this damsel, I find it very fun to paint!

The myth is quite interesting and the miss is very pretty, a touch of eroticism without exaggeration!

I hope I have done justice to the sculpture of the "fiery lady"!

See you soon folks!

امرأة جميلة

سالو à طوس! جي الخنزيرية المحتويات بيان دي المجلة المفكرة الاستجواب صب مصغرة نوفيل!
I do not know if the translation is good, I do not already speak good English, then Arabic ... > <

This is Rhymaiss from Figone (in da friendbox), a very good company, love it!
Original drawing by Bertrand Benoit

To start: I love this miniature. This is probably my favorite, whatever the make, year or theme. It is very well carved (by Jacques Alexandre Gillois), painted in its original version by Jeremie Bonamant my master in painting. In addition, she is damn pretty, she reminds me a lot my girlfriend (hello hummingbird!).

Okay, I'll stop here, anyway, I do usually not much word to describe, in addition, today I am a little confused.

Have fun and see you soon friends! ;)

Tooth Keeper or Little Mouse?

Hi folks!

Since I do not sleep, and I still a lot of work, I decided to lose more time and therefore write you a quick post! ;)

Here is a small project, very fast (maybe an hour or two in all) on a mini that was given to me by the people from Hasslefree (really, they were very nice!).

This figurine resume a legend about a tooth keeper, it seems that it is a popular myth in the USA, in my country it is the equivalent of the "little mouse."

But with a troll's head...

A really cool story for my girlfriend because she likes fairy tales, and me too!

A little bonus: WIP on Trollus Lunae Bellicus from Figone, a really cool mini!

Atthention on your b...

Hi people!
What do I see? We just spent the 1000 views! It's a celebration!

So, I put you the little Athena from Hasslefree, a beautiful figurine that I had a lot of fun to paint!

Of course, I was inspired by JBT's one, great painter if any. It's frustrating to see all these wonderful works when everything I do is scribble! x_X

Anyway, here, and thank you all, thank you to Tutofig, who sent me most of my viewers (besides it's kind of the point), and thank you to myself to write all this crap all day long! :D

Cheers!

The Girl and the Bath: Final thing

Hi everyone!

Well this is the result of my diorama cause it's finally done!
In recent weeks, I wanted to finish the base, in a very colorful and warm autumn spirit.

The goal was to figure out a girl bathing in the tears of a giant turned to stone but keeping a piece of living face, crying of his misfortune.

The figure comes from Hasslefree, and the rest is entirely sculpted by me.

Well, that's all for today, if you have any comments or otherwise, do not hesitate!

Bis bald!

Black is black

Hello there!

As I watched the fabulous blog Massive Voodoo (on the "friendsbox"), I suddenly wanted to post you a little miniature! ;)

There are two Nubian Girls in Hasslefree (on the "friendsbox" too! Wow! x) ), such a wonderful company, very nice people...

I find it hard to paint black skin, I don't really do much of these,  that I can not train as many time as I want...
I assume that dark skin golden reflections tie a little on the green, anyway, effect is correct.

It was also a crash test for Agrellan Earth by Games Workshop, one of the new paints "special effects".
I would have you a review soon about these new paints, not so bad!

Well, see you soon fellows, and merry merry Christmas mutha' fucka'!!

Cheers.

The girl and the bath

Today we will make a small figurine in Hasslefree, very nice site, good delivery system and very cool people! :) This is a figure I've painted quite quickly, but it will probably introduce you to some common techniques and colors not so common! ;) On photo of each step, you also will found the photo of each color used. Except when the color is rare or special, I would not mention it's name.

First, I start with a base paint in several layers of Tau Light Ochre, about 5 to have a uniform base (sorry, I've forget the photo for this step, the mini is the one of the next one ><).

The first lights on a zenithal extended mode.

Lights further on the most sun-exposed areas.

With sepia ink (Colorex) I spend a thin layer, then I refine it with a wet brush (see my tutorial HERE on Colorex inks).

Details come next. Dark red for the drapery, hairs in the base color of the skin, cuted with ice blue, red ink on the tips of the hair to create a gradient of "blond vénitien".

The final light on the drapery, red and orange in a melted.

  The final result.

Soon, the girl will be in a diorama I sculpted, but not painted yet!
See you!
